Croydon Tower Repairs

Generously supported by a grant from the Covid Recovery Fund, the walls and parapets of the tower at the Grade I listed Croydon Minster were recently conserved and repaired. Deteriorating areas of stonework had begun to come loose and the works included consolidation, replacement of worn and missing stone detail and repairs to several cracks. The loose clock dials were secured and several leaded light windows remade.
