Welcome to Ablett Architects

Ablett Architects offer a service that responds appropriately to the brief and the site, whether a traditional or contemporary solution. We specialise in preparing condition surveys and quinquennial inspections, including formulating long-term repair plans. We have an established track record of repairing and conserving buildings from the twelfth to twentieth centuries. In addition, we adapt existing and historic buildings to suit new uses. We are based in Bromley but cover Thurrock, Dartford, South London, North Kent etc.

Ablett Architects some recent projects

The Hall shines in a way which it has never done in living memory: previously invisible details of sculpture and carving can be seen; the magnificent floor seems so in keeping with its surroundings that it is already hard to believe that it replaced ugly cork tiles.

Ablett Architects: Personable, reliable, sensitive to context and environment, with good attention to detail and cost control with contractors.

- Peter Sanders, Chapter Clerk, Portsmouth Cathedral

I just wanted to write to thank you properly for all of your work and expertise in getting St Luke's re-opened. It was a very challenging time, to have arrived in a new parish and have pieces of wood falling from the ceiling, so I was incredibly grateful to have such a safe pair of hands as yourself in which to entrust so much of the work needed to get the church up and running again. Thank you especially for what you did to ensure that it was completed in time for us to be open again by Christmas. We had around 400 for the Christingle service in the afternoon, and over 120 at Midnight Mass - we couldn't have had such wonderful occasions without the building.

- The Rev Peter Godden, Vicar, St Luke's Church, Enfield
